Emily Wiadro, E-RYT is the lead teacher for the Root to Rise Yoga Immersion. Emily’s been teaching consistently since 2002 and, in addition to her 200 hour yoga teaching certification in 2006, has attended many week long intensives studying integrative yoga therapy. Her practice has evolved from opportunities to work with hundreds of students over the decade since she moved to Brattleboro in 2007. Emily’s experience with yoga as a therapeutic practice is present in her teaching.

Heather Kulikowsky, RYT-500 began leading yoga sessions with her high school boy’s lacrosse team before receiving her initial yoga teacher certification in 2015. Injuries and illness in her own body led her to dig deeper into the therapeutic nature of yoga and inspired her to immerse herself in an 800-hour Professional Yoga Therapist Certification with Kripalu’s School of Integrative Yoga Therapy. Her teaching style is playful and she enjoys leading groups of all ages and abilities on explorations of their inner workings. Heather’s current areas of interest include Adaptive Yoga, Chair Yoga, Somatics, Stress Disorders and Chronic Pain. She has led sessions in yin, chair, restorative, therapeutic, stress relief, vinyasa, hatha, and yoga basics speaking to the unsurpassed adaptability and accessibility of a well rounded yoga practice.

Amanda Upton, a 500-hour certified and registered yoga instructor, is the owner of Putney Moves and has been teaching yoga for over 15 years. She has immersed herself into the world of business strategy, leadership, marketing, and community building over the last five years to create a successful business and thriving yoga community. She will be bringing her wisdom and expertise to the Business of Yoga sessions and is eager to support your evolution as a teacher and leader in the community.
