Beginning Yoga (formerly known as Yoga for Beginners) is a 4-week series for students new to yoga as well as for students who would like to get back to the basics. In this series, you will learn basic alignment of several postures, breathing techniques, and yoga philosophy and concepts that will inspire and empower you on and off your mat! Demonstration, discussion, personal hands-on adjustments, and guided practice, will provide you with a solid foundation for any style of yoga.
Beginning Yoga is free of judgment and competition. Instead, you will experience a welcoming, accepting, and loving environment.
This series is taught by Amanda Upton and meets on Mondays from 5:30-6:45pm.
July 10th – 31st
August 14th – Sept 11th (no class on Sept 4th)
Beginning Yoga cost $50 per session.
